Does the BYD Atto 3 need engine oil?
No. The BYD Atto 3 is fully electric and does not have an internal combustion engine, so there is no engine oil to change. This is one of the biggest advantages of EVs — no oil changes, no oil filter, and significantly lower maintenance costs.
What is the engine oil capacity of BYD Atto 3?
The BYD Atto 3 does not use engine oil. However, the EV cooling system uses approximately 4–5 litres of EV coolant/antifreeze, which should be replaced every 3–4 years.
Does an electric car need any fluids?
