Pakistan's Rs. 80–100 lakh SUV segment has three strong contenders. We drove all three on Lahore's GT Road, Islamabad's Margalla Hills, and the M2 motorway to give you the definitive 2025 comparison.

Engine Performance

The Hyundai Tucson 1.6T AWD (178hp) is the most powerful non-luxury SUV in Pakistan. The KIA Sportage 2.0 (155hp) is naturally aspirated — less peak power but more linear delivery. The MG HS 1.5T (162hp) sits in between. For daily Lahore driving, all three are more than adequate. For Murree or Abbottabad mountain roads, the Tucson AWD is most confident.

Interior Quality

KIA Sportage has the most premium interior — soft-touch materials everywhere, a beautiful curved dual screen, and genuine panoramic sunroof. Hyundai Tucson is nearly as good with slightly less visual drama. MG HS feels good at Rs. 79–90 lakh but can't quite match Korean quality in door card materials and tactile feel.

After-Sales & Resale

KIA (Lucky Motor) has the best after-sales in this segment — 40+ service centres and parts readily available across Pakistan. Hyundai Nishat is growing fast — 30+ centres now. MG (Sazgar) has improved dramatically since 2022 but service is still primarily Lahore/Karachi/Islamabad.

Our Recommendation: KIA Sportage AWD if you want the complete package and best resale. Hyundai Tucson 1.6T AWD if engine performance matters most. MG HS if budget is the priority and you want maximum features per rupee.
