KIA Sportage returned to Pakistan in 2019 and has become the benchmark for mid-size SUVs. The 2023+ facelift brought a completely new design, upgraded features, and a better engine. Here's our complete 2025 review.
Variants & Prices
| Variant | Engine | Drive | Price 2025 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.0 FWD | 2.0L MPI 155hp | FWD | Rs. 89.9 L |
| 2.0 AWD | 2.0L MPI 155hp | AWD | Rs. 99.9 L |
Design & Presence
The current Sportage is the best-looking SUV sold in Pakistan. The star-map front grille, boomerang DRL pattern, and swept-back roofline make it instantly recognizable. Inside, the dual 12.3-inch curved screen (ADAS+infotainment) is a genuine premium touch that rivals BMW at 10x the cost.
Engine & Driving Dynamics
The naturally aspirated 2.0L produces 155hp which is adequate but not exciting. The 6-speed automatic (not DCT) has slightly slow shifts in Sport mode. The AWD system on the FX variant uses a torque-vectoring rear axle that genuinely helps on Murree's wet hairpin bends and loose-surface drives outside Islamabad.

Ownership Costs
Lucky Motor's 3-year / 100,000 km warranty is the best in the SUV segment. First service (1,000 km): free. Regular service every 5,000 km costs Rs. 8,000–12,000 including genuine parts. KIA Sportage resale is exceptional — 2020 units still command Rs. 75–80 lakh in 2025.
