The 11th-generation Honda Civic arrived in Pakistan in 2022 and immediately redefined what a sedan in the Rs. 75–85 lakh range should look like. Three years later, does it still hold up? We spent two weeks in the 2025 Civic to find out.

Design — Unmistakably Modern

The 11th-gen Civic is genuinely beautiful. The fastback roofline, flush door handles, and Lamborghini-inspired rear light bar make it the best-looking sedan available in Pakistan today. Nothing in the Rs. 75–85 lakh segment comes close aesthetically. The Sport Blue Pearl and Aegean Blue Metallic colors look particularly stunning.

The 1.5L Turbo Engine — A True Highlight

The 1.5T VTEC produces 182hp — more than most SUVs costing Rs. 50 lakh more. The CVT responds well and Honda's paddle shifters give manual-feel when you want it. 0–100 km/h in approximately 7.8 seconds makes it the quickest sedan in Pakistan under Rs. 1 crore. Fuel average: 13–15 km/l city, 16–18 km/l motorway.

Interior & Technology

The cabin is genuinely premium. The 9-inch Honda CONNECT screen is fast and intuitive. Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay works flawlessly. The Type R-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel gives an athletic feel. Rear legroom is excellent despite the sleek roofline — a Honda engineering achievement.

Ride Quality on Pakistani Roads

This is the Civic's weak point in Pakistan. The sport-tuned suspension feels harsh on broken inner-city roads. In Karachi's PECHS area or Lahore's Data Ganj Bakhsh Road, the Civic bounces more than a Corolla or City. On the motorway it's sublime. If your daily commute involves rough roads, consider whether this trade-off suits you.

✅ Pros
Best-looking sedan in Pakistan
182hp turbocharged engine — fastest in class
Excellent motorway refinement
Premium cabin quality
Strong resale among enthusiasts
❌ Cons
Harsh ride on broken city roads
Single variant — no choice
Expensive at Rs. 79 lakh vs rivals
Honda Atlas parts more expensive than Toyota at local market
Final Verdict: The Civic is the most desirable sedan in Pakistan — if you can afford it and your roads are reasonable. For pure driving pleasure and prestige, nothing else comes close at this price. But if you're on rough roads daily, a Corolla will be more comfortable.
